    About the Clinic

    About the Clinic

The Koşuyolu Anesthesia and Reanimation Clinic has made a significant contribution to the training of cardiac surgery anesthetists since the establishment of our hospital in 1985. Its crucial role in meeting the country's demand in this specialized field of anesthesia has greatly contributed to the development of both public and private sector open-heart surgery clinics. Not only has it become an indispensable component of open-heart surgeries but also of Cardiology Clinic practices.

Our hospital provides important services in cardiac surgery and other surgical interventions, transplant surgeries, some of the percutaneous procedures, gastroenterological diagnostic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, etc.), intensive care units, and extracorporeal life support applications. Additionally, we play a vital role in managing the "Code Blue" team, rapidly intervening in cases of sudden life-threatening events within the hospital, thereby saving the lives of patients or citizens. Moreover, we provide consultation, support, and training for the establishment and development of Anesthesiology Clinics or Departments in new centers as recommended by the Ministry of Health.

The Koşuyolu Anesthesia Clinic operates with 1 Education Instructor, 2 Education Staff (2 Senior Residents), and 20 Specialist Physicians, responsible for conducting medical and academic activities. They play an essential role in preoperative patient evaluation and identifying any additional issues.
